Fundraising
The MSCA holds periodic events to raise funds for activities, trip scholarship awards, and to pay for MSCA business expenses. We are a Non-Profit Corporation and are able to accept Tax Deductible Donations from people or businesses. We welcome all donations and any volunteer work or ideas for raising funds. If you would like to help or have an idea please get in touch with any of the Board Members on the Contact page.
On Saturday, March 24, 2012 we will again host our Annual Dance Fundraiser at Crown Hall in Mendocino, The Spring Fling Dance Fund Raiser!
This years music will be provided by the same band as in 2011, Riptide (Roger Fritz, David Hayes & James Preston). So if you enjoyed last years music then you know this band can play dance music for every age. We will also be hosting a Silent Auction for valuable items. The door opens at 7pm and the music starts at 8pm. Food and Drinks are available for purchase. Tickets are available at Out of This World in Mendocino and in Fort Bragg at Tangents and at the door the night of the dance. Adults-$10, ages 5 to 14-$5 and under 5 are free. Please tell all your friends and neighbors to come and enjoy a great night out while supporting a great community organization.

Last year, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 the MacCallum House hosted the MSCA Dinner/Silent Auction Fundraiser at the MacCallum House Restaurant & Bar in Mendocino. All the profits from every dinner and drink served to any customer during the evening were donated to the MSCA 2011 Student trip to our Sister City, Miasa-Omachi. We also held a Silent Auction on the MacCallum House porch the same evening. Many valuable items were available to bid on. All proceeds from the Silent Auction also went to the MSCA 2011 Student trip.
We hope to do this again in the future but no date is set as yet.
The MSCA would like to thank the MacCallum House for their generous support to all the Mendocino Community Organizations that strive so hard to make our lives better.
